ISI Survey: Infinity Systems’ Organizational Survey and Analytics Platform
Webnyxa designed and developed Infinity Systems’ responsive survey-management and analytics platform using Laravel, PHP, and MySQL. The platform supports Orgametrics, Equimetrics, and custom assessments with organization and participant management, role-based workflows, survey distribution, response tracking, graphical analytics, PDF reporting, historical-data migration, and ongoing production support.

Project Overview
ISI Survey is a responsive web platform for Infinity Systems’ organizational survey and people-analytics programs, including Orgametrics and Equimetrics. Administrators configure assessments, manage organizations and participants, distribute invitations, track participation, review analytics, and export PDF reports. Survey participants complete assigned assessments through supported desktop, tablet, and mobile browsers.
This case study covers Webnyxa’s enterprise web development for the survey platform. It does not describe native Android or iOS application development.
Client Background
Art Johnson, founder of Infinity Systems, built Orgametrics and Equimetrics from Fortune 500 leadership experience: teams perform best when they understand and focus on the organization’s mission. Engagement alone is not enough — alignment matters. Those frameworks quantify how well leaders communicate purpose and how it translates into daily action. Infinity Systems needed a durable digital platform to run those assessments, manage participating organizations, and turn survey activity into clear reporting for leadership teams.
The Challenge
Infinity Systems needed a survey-management system that could serve platform operators, organization administrators, and survey participants across client organizations. Surveys had to be configured and distributed at scale, completed by participants, tracked through participation metrics, and reviewed through graphical analytics and PDF reports. Existing historical survey records also had to be mapped into the new MySQL data model without losing usable history.
User Roles
The platform is organized around three responsibility levels. The application historically labels these as Super Admin, HR Admin, and Employees; the case study uses broader role names because the same model can serve organizations beyond traditional corporate HR structures.
Platform Administrator
Platform Administrators (Super Admin in the application) operate the overall system across client organizations.
- Add organizations and their organization administrators
- Assign surveys and allocate permissions
- Share surveys with organizations and create custom surveys alongside Orgametrics and Equimetrics
- Review cross-organization analytics where authorized
- Send announcements to administrators and participants
Organization Administrator
Organization Administrators (HR Admin in the application) manage participants and survey activity within their organization.
- Distribute assigned surveys to participants
- Add and manage participants within their organization
- Review participation metrics such as invitation, start, and completion activity
- View graphical survey results for their organization
- Create custom surveys when authorized by a Platform Administrator
- Raise support tickets
Survey Participant
Survey Participants (Employees in the application) complete the assessments assigned to them.
- View surveys that are completed, in progress, or not yet started
- Complete assigned surveys through the responsive web interface
- Review their own answers where the survey configuration permits it
- Raise support tickets
Survey Workflow
Authorized administrators configure a survey or assessment, including supported question types such as multiple-choice, rating scales, and open-ended responses. Participants are added manually or imported, then invitations are distributed by email according to the configured schedule. As responses arrive, the platform tracks participation and validates submitted activity for reporting.
Aggregate results are calculated for authorized review. Administrators examine participation data, question-level summaries, and graphical analytics, then generate PDF reports for leadership review. Where open-ended responses are eligible for AI assistance, authorized users can review AI-generated summaries alongside the broader reporting workflow.
Participants work from a survey list that distinguishes completed, in-progress, and not-started assessments. Answer review follows the permissions set for each survey. Exact save-and-resume, edit-after-submit, reminder cadence, and scoring rules should be confirmed against the live survey configuration before stronger claims are published.
Analytics, Reporting, and AI-Assisted Analysis
Authorized users can review participation and completion statistics, question-level response summaries, rating distributions, trend analysis, and graphical dashboards. Results can be exported to PDF for leadership and client reporting.
Webnyxa integrated AI-assisted processing to help organize eligible open-ended survey responses into summaries, themes, categories, and sentiment-related insights. The generated output supports the reporting workflow and remains subject to authorized human review. Details such as which fields are sent to OpenAI, whether identifying information is removed before processing, how organizations can opt out, and the exact human-review procedure should be confirmed with the project team before stronger privacy claims are published.
Excel Imports and Historical-Data Migration
Approved historical survey records were mapped, validated, and transferred into the new MySQL data model so prior survey history remained available inside the updated platform. Exact source systems, record volumes, reconciliation steps, and anonymity rules for migrated responses should be confirmed with the project team before they are presented as quantitative migration metrics.
The platform also supports dynamic Excel imports for operational data entry. Imports can detect headers, map columns flexibly, validate rows, detect duplicates, report row-level errors, and continue with partial success where individual rows fail validation — so organizations can import spreadsheets without relying on a single fixed template.
Platform Evolution
After the initial survey-management release, Webnyxa continued extending the product with capabilities that deepen day-to-day operations and analytics.
- Multiple survey and question types with scheduling and email invitations
- Dynamic Excel imports with column mapping, validation, duplicate detection, and row-level error reporting
- OpenAI-assisted analysis of eligible open-ended responses
- Expanded analytics covering participation stats, response summaries, rating distributions, trend analysis, and PDF exports
- AWS EC2 deployment and Nginx configuration
- Performance optimization and ongoing production maintenance
Security, Privacy, and Organization Separation
The platform processes organizational feedback, participant information, written responses, analytics, and reports. Confirmed safeguards in the delivered work include role-based permissions across Platform Administrator, Organization Administrator, and Survey Participant responsibilities, and organization-scoped management so administrators work within their assigned organizations.
Authentication protects access to administrative and participant workflows. Reports and exports are available to authorized users. AI-assisted analysis is intended for eligible open-ended responses and remains subject to authorized human review.
This page does not claim that every survey is anonymous, that the platform is multi-tenant by architecture name, or that any specific encryption, backup, audit-log, or minimum-response-threshold policy is in force unless separately confirmed. Anonymous, confidential, and identifiable survey modes — where offered — should be described according to the live product configuration and client agreements.
Responsive Web Access
ISI Survey is delivered as a responsive web application. Administrators and participants access supported workflows through desktop, tablet, and mobile browsers. This engagement does not include a separate native Android or iOS application.
Team, Deployment, and Current Status
Webnyxa’s confirmed work spans Laravel and PHP development, MySQL data modeling, survey and analytics features, Excel import tooling, OpenAI-assisted open-ended analysis, PDF reporting, AWS EC2 and Nginx production deployment, performance optimization, and ongoing support. Exact development start dates, launch milestones, team size, and phase breakdowns should be confirmed with the project team before they are published as official project metrics. The product remains in production with continued maintenance needs.
