NoShopCode
NoShopCode is a no-code SaaS platform that helps Shopify merchants create branded mobile apps for Android and iOS. Merchants connect their Shopify store and configure the app’s branding and navigation through a web dashboard. Each app combines a React Native shell with the merchant’s live storefront, helping products, prices, cart, and checkout information remain aligned with the Shopify store.

Product Overview
NoShopCode helps Shopify merchants create branded mobile apps without writing code. Merchants connect their store, customize the app through a web dashboard, and prepare it for Android and iOS distribution. The app combines the merchant’s live Shopify storefront with native navigation, push notifications, and deep links.
The Challenge
Developing a custom mobile app can require significant time, budget, and ongoing maintenance. The goal was to give Shopify merchants a simpler way to configure and maintain a branded mobile app without developing and separately managing another storefront.
No Code for the Merchant
Merchants configure the app through a web dashboard. They can upload a logo and splash screen, select colors, and organize drawer and bottom-tab navigation using drag-and-drop tools. They can also control how the Shopify storefront appears inside the app by hiding selected web elements and applying custom styling.
Connected to the Live Shopify Store
Instead of maintaining a separate product catalogue, the app presents the merchant’s live Shopify storefront within a React Native shell. Product, pricing, promotion, cart, and checkout changes are therefore reflected through the existing Shopify store without requiring the merchant to update a separate catalogue.
AI-Assisted App Setup
After a store is connected, NoShopCode uses its navigation, categories, logo, and branding information to generate a mobile-ready navigation menu. This gives the merchant a configured starting point that can be adjusted through the dashboard.
Automated Android Builds in the Cloud
When a merchant starts an Android build, NoShopCode queues the request and launches a cloud build worker. The worker applies the merchant’s branding, compiles the app, and generates a signed APK for testing and an AAB for Google Play distribution. When the build is complete, the merchant receives an email with links to the generated files.
App configuration and Android binary generation are separate from Google Play submission and review. Store approval timelines depend on Google’s review process and are not the same as build completion.
iOS App Preparation and Publishing
NoShopCode also prepares branded React Native apps for iOS distribution. The automated cloud-build workflow described above generates signed Android APK and AAB files; it is not the same process used for iOS.
iOS apps require Apple Developer Program credentials, certificates, provisioning profiles, and App Store Connect submission. App Store review and approval are separate from merchant dashboard setup and from Android cloud builds. Merchants should treat setup time, binary preparation, store submission, and store approval as distinct stages.
Engagement and Post-Launch Updates
After launch, merchants can send push notifications to selected audience segments. They can also share device-aware install links and QR codes that direct visitors to the appropriate app store. Supported content, menu, and styling changes can be delivered without submitting a new app-store version.
Changes to native code or new native capabilities still require a normal app-store build and review cycle.
Checkout and Store Alignment
Cart and checkout continue through the merchant’s Shopify storefront experience inside the app shell, so payment handling remains within Shopify checkout rather than a separate payment form maintained by NoShopCode. Broader privacy, signing-credential handling, and app-store data declarations should always match the live product privacy policy and current store listings.
